Sonam Kapoor is expected to welcome her first child THIS month, Anil Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor express their excitement

Sonam Kapoor left her fans gushing with happiness after she announced her pregnancy with husband Anand Ahuja earlier today (March 21). The actress shared some delightful pictures in black attire which had Anand cradling her baby bump. Now the latest development surrounding the soon-to-be mommy is that she is four months pregnant.

According to a news report in The Times Of India, Sonam Kapoor will be welcoming her first child in August this year. The publication quoted a source close to The Zoya Factor actress’ family who revealed, “In fact, she is four months pregnant. So, she will deliver mostly in August 2022. She wasn't seen around much in recent times and this was precisely the reason. A lot of friends and relatives had got the whiff of it but she did not confirm with most of them, until today.”

Not only this but soon-to-be grandpa Anil Kapoor also had an endearing post to express his happiness. The 1942: A Love Story actor shared a picture from Sonam Kapoor’s latest post. He captioned the same stating, “now preparing for the most exciting role of my life – GRANDFATHER. Our lives will never be the same again and I couldn’t be more grateful! @sonamkapoor & @anandahuja you have made us happy beyond measure with this incredible news.”

While soon-to-be aunt Rhea Kapoor also thanked the team behind Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s pregnancy photoshoot for being the ‘best secret keepers.’ The Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga actress had shared a heartwarming message along with the latest post. Sonam wrote, “Four hands. To raise you the very best we can. Two hearts that will beat in unison with yours, every step of the way. One family who will shower you with love and support. We can’t wait to welcome you.”
