Sonam Kapoor requests paps to not click her son Vayu's photo at airport: 'Mera beta araha....'

Just like Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma, and Alia Bhatt, new mommy Sonam Kapoor is quite protective of her son Vayu Kapoor Ahuja . The actress has ensured that her son’s identity is not revealed on a public platform. Even when she posts pictures or videos on her Instagram handle, she covers his face. Recently, the actress politely requested the paparazzi stationed at the airport to not click pictures of her son.

A video has surfaced on a paparazzo’s Instagram account wherein Sonam is seen dressed in a black trench coat styled with a geometric-printed muffler. She completed her look with high-ankle boots and left her tresses open. In the short clip, she can be seen posing for the camera and urging the photographers beforehand that her son Vayu is coming hence asked them to avoid taking pictures. She can be heard saying, “Mere beta araha uska picture mat lena.” Check the video here:

As soon as the video surfaced, netizens also reacted to Sonam’s concern for her son. One of the users criticized her, “Chote chote baccho ko chor k jati kaha hai yeh log roz.” Another commented, “Don’t worry no one even wants to see your kid.” Some also pointed out her dressing style. One social media user wrote, “She alone understands her own fashion sense!” The second comment read, “Trying to hide her increased weight with loose clothes I guess.”

Yesterday(December 24), Sonam dropped a heartfelt wish for her father and actor Anil Kapoor who turned 66. She posted a picture of the actor with Vayu along with other throwbacks. In the picture, she yet again covered Vayu’s face with a sticker. She captioned the post as, "Happy happy birthday to the best dad in the whole world. I love you. You're the greatest and the best.
