Sonam Kapoor's family to host a lavish baby shower; Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor to attend

Sonam Kapoor is gearing up to welcome her first child with her husband Anand Ahuja anytime soon. The actress who is in her third trimester now is in Mumbai after hosting a grand baby shower for all her friends in London. However, now one hears that her family will be hosting a lavish baby shower here in the city too. Not only this but the occasion will be attended by the crème-de-la-crème of the film industry.

Talking about the same, a source close to Sonam Kapoor’s family revealed to Pinkvilla that her parents, Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor will be hosting a baby shower for her at her aunt Kavita Singh’s bungalow in Bandra, Bandstand that goes by the name, Rockdale. The occasion will inevitably have all the members of the Kapoor clan like Rhea Kapoor , Harshvardhan Kapoor , Janhvi Kapoor , Shanaya Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor , Anshula Kapoor , Mohit Marwah, and others. However, apart from this, there will be other who’s who of the film industry as per the speculated guest list.

The report furthermore stated that the guest list has names like Kareena Kapoor Khan , Alia Bhatt , Deepika Padukone , Malaika Arora , Karisma Kapoor , Amrita Arora, Jacqueline Fernandez, Swara Bhasker , Rani Mukerji, Natasha Dalal, Masaba Gupta , and others. It seems like just like her wedding in the year 2018, Sonam Kapoor’s baby shower will be one extraordinary affair with all the stars under one roof. Sonam and Anand Ahuja announced their pregnancy in March this year and had written, “Four hands. To raise you the very best we can. Two hearts. That will beat in unison with yours, every step of the way. One family. Who will shower you with love and support. We can’t wait to welcome you.”

On the work front, Sonam Kapoor will be soon in the film, The Blind . The film will be directed by Shome Makhija. It will also be starring Vinay Pathak and Purab Kohli in the lead roles.
