Sushmita Sen wants to stay away from brother Rajeev Sen's separation with Charu Asopra? Here's why she's silent

A lot has been going on in the relationship of Sushmita Sen ’s brother Rajeev Sen and his wife Charu Asopa but the former Miss Universe chose to be silent. Ever since the couple announced separation in June, they have been hurling allegations at each other. Later in September, the two reunited for the sake of their child, and now once again they are blaming each other for their separation. Amid all their divorce drama, Sushmita only once reacted over their reconciliation and continued to stay away from them. Recently, the real reason behind her silence is revealed and it seems justified.

According to a source close to BollywoodLife, Sushmita does care about her brother and her sister-in-law Charu but she doesn’t want to get into this mud-singling. “She is keeping herself away from this drama as she is a very private person and is not liking how things are turning out among them in public and she knows that her one reaction will only add more fuel to the fire, hence she chose to distance herself, and it is not that she doesn't care for her brother or even Charu.” Further, the source added that Sushmita will continue to share bond with Charu no matter what unfolds. A day ago, Sushmita shared an emotional post for her niece Ziana, who turned a year older. She took to Instagram and penned a special message. Calling her strong, the actress wrote, "Look at that strong and mysterious Phoenix!!! Born a Scorpio for a reason!!!May you always Rise and Rule!! Happpyyyyy 1st Birthday Ziana!!!May God bless you with his best always!!! Thank you for gracing our lives!!! #BuaKiJaan. We love you little Munchkin!!!"

On the work front, Sushmita is currently gearing up for the third season of her hit web series, Arya, wherein she played a fierce, protective mother in this two-part series. She will also be seen essaying the role of transgender activist Shreegauri Sawant, in an upcoming biopic, titled Taali.
