Taapsee Pannu gives a shout out to Ayushmann Khurrana's Anek; shares a glowing review

Actor Taapsee Pannu recently attended the screening of Ayushmann Khurrana ’s socio-political thriller Anek directed by Anubhav Sinha . After watching the film, the actress took to her social media handle and penned a glowing review for the movie that was released today, May 27.

Taking to her Twitter handle, the Thappad actress lauded Ayushmann’s movie and wrote, “#Anek talks about patriotism that brings people together, people with differences who are willing to talk coz the intention is to solve, the need is to love. @anubhavsinha @ayushmannk go tell the world” Have a look:

The makers of Anek held a screening for the film fraternity on Thursday. Besides the film’s cast and crew, several celebrities including Rajkummar Rao, Javed Akhtar, Anurag Kashyap , Aanand L Rai , Shabana Azmi , Sayani Gupta , and Prateik Babbar came to watch the film.

Set against the backdrop of the insurgency in the North-East part of India, Anek tells the story of a man named Joshua played by Ayushmann, a spy agent who is on a mission to restore peace in the region. The film marks the second collaboration of Ayushmann with Anubhav Sinha after Article 15 . The film also marks the acting debut of model Andrea Kevichusa.

Speaking of Taapsee Pannu, the actress is currently gearing up for the release of the sports drama Shabaash Mithu. Her upcoming projects include Blurr, Do Baara, and Dunki.
