Taapsee Pannu trolls Karan Johar for prying into the sex lives of celebrities; is it why she's won't be seen on Koffee With Karan 7?
Taapsee Pannu answered why she wasn't invited to appear on Koffee With Karan 7 and her answer in much in true with the trolls.
Taapsee Pannu has given a rather cheeky response to not being asked to join the fleet of celebrities appearing on Koffee With Karan 7 this year. The actress who is busy promoting her film Dobaaraa with filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, at a event took at sly dig at Karan Johar probing the celebrities about the sex lives on his chat show as she answered why she wasn’t invited.
It happened so that Taapsee was busy promoting her film at a hotel with Anurag and in the adjacent room was Karan Johar promoting Koffee With Karan 7. Seeing the coincidence, Taapsee was asked by reporter why she’s not a part of Karan’s chat show and the actress mockingly said, “My sex life is not interesting to be on Koffee With Karan.”
Taapsee Pannu’s bold and straight forward response is much in tune with all the social media chatter about the filmmaker taking keen interest in the personal lives of celebrities who grace Koffee With Karan.
Many have called out Karan Johar for prying about the sex lives of stars on the chat show, more recently that of Ranveer Singh, Vijay Deverakonda, Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor who appeared in the recent episodes of the show.
Aamir even mocked Karan’s line of questioning after the filmmaker checked Kareena for talking badly about sex life when his mother would be watching the show. He roosted Karan saying, “Your mother doesn't mind you asking people about other people's sex life.”
Apart from Taapsee Pannu, regulars of Koffee With Karan like Ranbir Kapoor, Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone are also not a part of season 7’s line-up. So far, Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Sara Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Vijay Deverakonda, Ananya Panday, Kareena Kapoor and Aamir Khan have appeared on the show.
