Karan Johar has often poked fun at others to evoke laughter but his remarks appeared to be offensive to people at large. However, superstar Aamir Khan thinks otherwise. He admits that he enjoys the filmmaker’s sense of humour even though it is targeted at someone. In his recent appearance on Koffee With Karan season 7, the Dangal actor roasted the filmmaker to an extent that he was seemingly reminded of Kangana Ranaut. However, he also praised him for being so funny.

Aamir shared the couch with his Laal Singh Chaddha co-star Kareena Kapoor Khan on the show. He started trolling the filmmaker when the latter asked his opinion over the recent backlash he received for being partial to Sara Ali Khan on the same show. Sharing his views, Aamir said that whenever he does a show, someone gets insulted, cries, or gets heartbroken. However, he later balanced out his statement by saying that his sense of humour is great.

“But I have to say he has a great sense of humour. The problem is that when he tells a story it’s always a joke to somebody. But he makes it funny and compels people to laugh. I laugh so much when I am with him. Later I feel bad we poked fun at someone. You end up laughing at that time.” said the Rang De Basanti actor. While Kareena added that Karan pokes fun at himself too which is commendable. To which, Aamir also agreed.

For the uninitiated, Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi were guests on the second episode of Karan’s chat show. On the show, Janhvi lost to Sara in both rapid-fire and slam quiz segments, and Karan became extremely nice to Janhvi. However, he was slammed for being biased towards Janhvi over Sara.

Meanwhile, Aamir and Kareena graced the show to promote their upcoming film, Laal Singh Chaddha. Directed by Advait Chandan, the film is set to release alongside Akshay Kumar’s Raksha Bandhan on August 11.
