This video of Ayushmann Khurrana is making netizens see Kishore Kumar in him; Watched it yet?

On the birth anniversary of Kishore Kumar , Ayushmann Khurrana paid a special tribute to the legendary singer. The actor took to his Instagram handle and shared a video in which he can be seen crooning the iconic song, ‘Rimjhim Gire Saawan’. The video opens with his shadow having a stark resemblance with the late singer and the actor appears towards the end. Dressed in a black kurta pajama, he is seen sitting in a chair.

Sharing the video, he wrote, “ कभी पूर्वाइयों में, तो कभी परछाइयों में बसते हैं किशोर दा. Wherever I go, whatever I do, your inspiration follows me like a shadow. Happy Birthday Kishore da! There will never be anyone quite like you❤️”. Soon after his post went online, netizens lauded Ayushmann’s attempt. One user wrote, “ Now THIS is what we call a duet ❤️🤍”. “Ditto Kishor da!! ❤️❤️❤️” added another. While some demanded the actor to star in the legendary singer’s biopic. “Maybe you can play Kishore Kumar in his biopic someday,” wrote one of the fans. “We all want to see you in Kishore da biopic,” added another. Ayushmann recently returned from a family vacation with his wife Tahira Kashyap, and kids Virajveer and Varushka. After returning from his Europe trip, he had shared a photo with his family and wrote, “Back in the bay. But mentally still on a vacay.” In the happy photo, the actor Khurrana posed with his children and his wife dressed in their casual best. 

In terms of work, Ayushmann was last seen in Anubhav Sinha’s Anek. He will be next seen in Doctor G co-starring Rakul Preet Singh, Shefali Shah, and Sheeba Chaddha in supporting roles. It is scheduled to be released on 17 June 2022. Besides it, he also has An Action Hero in the pipeline and will also feature Jaideep Ahlawat.
