Varun Dhawan comes out in aid of a fan suffering domestic abuse by her father, says 'this is an extremely serious matter'

Varun Dhawan recently won the respect of his fans after coming to the aid of one of his fans who is suffering domestic abuse by her father. The fan approached the actor on Twitter and narrated her ordeal. Varun was quick to take notice of the same and agreed to look into the matter.

Talking about the same, the fan tagged Varun Dhawan and stated how she and her mother are undergoing physical and emotional abuse by her father. The fan alleged that her father drinks alcohol and beats her and her mother as well as takes part in some illegal activities. She furthermore alleged that her father is cheating on her mother saying that they have received no effective help from the police authorities nor the women’s support helplines.

Varun Dhawan caught notice of the chain of tweets and sharing them wrote, “This an extremely serious matter and if this is true I will help will u and speak to the authorities.” Many of his fans were touched by this gesture of the Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania actor and could not stop praising him. One of the fans stated, “Wow! Respect Respect Respect. You are amazing Bhai please continue inspire many people with your kindness compassion and generosity. The world needs more people like youu #VarunDhawan love you VD.” While another fan stated, “The reason why I want to be a Varun Dhawan. The reason why I can die for you. There was no one like you in this universal, there is no one and there will be no one. Thank you for everything vd you're the incredible. Love you.” However, some of the netizens also urged Varun Dhawan to look into both sides of the story before taking any action.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Varun Dhawan will be seen in the family entertainer Jugjugg Jeeyo. The movie also stars Anil Kapoor , Neetu Kapoor, and Kiara Advani in the lead roles. It is all set to be released on June 24, 2022.
