Varun Dhawan has THIS wish for mommy-to-be Alia Bhatt

As Alia Bhatt is expecting her first child with hubby Ranbir Kapoor , wishes are pouring in from all the corners. The latest to send out wishes is her close friend and actor Varun Dhawan . In a recent interaction, the actor wished his Badrinath Ki Dulhania co-star and interestingly it has his film connection.

In a recent interview with ETimes, when Varun was asked about his reaction to Alia’s pregnancy news, he shared his message saying, “Jugjugg Jeeyo,”-also the name of his recently released movie. He also wished her a long and prosperous life with Ranbir. Earlier too, the actor reacted in the same way when Alia tied the knot with Ranbir on April 14 this year. During that period of time, the actor was shooting for the same movie.

For the uninitiated, Alia shared a picture of herself and Ranbir from their sonography session and announced her pregnancy on Monday. She captioned it, “Our Baby … Coming Soon.” The news left fans surprised and they flooded the comment section with love and congratulatory messages.

Meanwhile, Varun is currently basking in the positive reviews that his family drama Jugjugg Jeeyo is receiving. Directed by Raj A Mehta, the film also stars Kiara Advani , Neetu Kapoor, and Anil Kapoor in prominent roles. The film was released on June 24 and it has so far grossed more than Rs 45 crore at the box office. Next, the actor will be seen in Nitesh Tiwari ’s Bawaal alongside Janhvi Kapoor and Bhediya co-starring Kriti Sanon .

On the other hand, mommy-to-be Alia is currently busy shooting for her Hollywood debut movie, Heart of Stone in London. She will next be seen in Karan Johar ’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani co-starring Ranveer Singh and in Ayan Mukerji ’s Brahmastra alongside husband Ranbir Kapoor.
