Vicky Kaushal and Tripti Dimri to shoot a romantic song in Croatia for Anand Tiwari’s next
Vicky Kaushal will next be seen in Meghna Gulzar’s upcoming biopic, ‘Sam Bahadur’ which is based on the life of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw.
Actor Vicky Kaushal is currently shooting for Anand Tiwari’s romantic comedy with Tripti Dimri. As per the latest report, the team will now head to Croatia to shoot for a romantic song which will be helmed by choreographer Farah Khan.
The shooting of the upcoming film kickstarted in March this year and the team recently celebrated the first schedule wrap by cutting cake on the sets. Now, the production team has selected locations in Dubrovnik’s Zagreb where some scenes of Game of Thrones were shot to shoot a romantic track and also a few dramatic scenes.
As per the Mid-day report, Vicky, Tripti, and the team are scheduled to leave for Croatia in early June. "After the spell in Mumbai, the cast shot a portion of the film in Delhi and Mussoorie in April. They celebrated the first schedule wrap by cutting a cake on the sets. Soon, they will be Croatia-bound. The production team has zeroed in on locations in Zagreb, Dubrovnik where some scenes of Game of Thrones were shot, the Plitvice lakes, Adriatic islands, and the famous lavender fields of Hvar, " said the source close to the development.
The source also revealed, "Farah is known for her lavish and colourful songs. The makers too want the Vicky-Tripti track to be a memorable one, especially as the film sees Vicky in a softer, romantic role and is a departure from his usual intense parts.”
The upcoming Anand Tiwari directorial also stars Ammy Virk in a key role. The team had reportedly been shooting at a Mumbai studio for a month. After that, they headed to Delhi and a few other locations in North India.
Besides it, Vicky has a line-up of some very interesting films in his pipeline. He will next be seen in Meghna Gulzar’s upcoming biopic, ‘Sam Bahadur’ which is based on the life of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. He also has ‘Govinda Naam Mera’ with Kiara Advani and Bhumi Pednekar and Laxman Utekar’s next with Sara Ali Khan. On the other hand, Tripti will next appear in Qala which will mark the debut of Irrfan Khan’s son Babil.
