Vidyut Jammwal reveals he felt proud after watching Kangana Ranaut’s Dhaakad; actress says ‘it's like an award’

Actress Kangana Ranaut ’s last release Dhaakad was touted to be the ‘biggest action thriller of the year’ before it arrived in theatres. While the beauty received rave reviews for her performance and action sequences, and her co-star Arjun Rampal was also lauded, the action film failed to do well at ticket windows. It ended up becoming a box office disaster whereas Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which released on the same day, emerged as a blockbuster hit.

Well, in a recent interview, action star Vidyut Jammwal praised Kangana for her incredible work in Dhaakad. The actress took to her official social media handle to share a clip from this interview and also expressed her gratitude for the same. In the video, Vidyut shares, “Iss samay naa mujhe, maine Kangana ki abhi film aayi thi Dhaakad. Jab maine dekha toh I felt very proud that there's a girl who's genuinely doing something spectacular. I felt, there was a feeling of pride.”

Along with the video, Kangana shared heartfelt messages for the actor. She wrote: “Best action Hero @mevidyutjammwal in the country appreciating my action scenes🥰.” She went on to further add, “It's like an award 🥇 Thanks 🥰🙏🏻@mevidyutjammwal Watch Dhaakad on @zee5 on 1st July.” Well, it sure is refreshing to see one actor lauding the hard work of another.
