Vijay Deverakonda has become the target of trolls for his alleged misbehaviour with media at a recent press conference for his next film Liger . In the photos and videos circulating on the internet, the actor can be seen sitting too casually with his feet up on a table while interacting with a journalist. However, the actor gave it back to trolls with a savage reply on social media.

The Liger star took to Twitter and shared a video clip of a new report that talked about his behaviour. Alongside he wrote, “Anybody trying to grow in their field will always have a Target on their back – But we fightback :) And when you are honest, yourself and want the best for everyone – The love of people and God will protect you (sic).” and added heart emojis.

Amid netizens criticizing Vijay’s 'arrogant behaviour’, it is being reported that the actor was only sitting so idly to make the journalist comfortable. During the press conference in Hyderabad, the journalist asked the actor if he would talk with the media with the same ease as he is a Bollywood celebrity now. Reacting to this, Vijay put his legs up to have a more casual equation and make the journalist feel at ease. To note, the actor was accompanied by his Liger co-star Ananya Panday .

Earlier, Vijay had a fierce response to the question about social media trolls. “It's common, it's an everyday thing. Even before I became an actor, aunties, and uncles used to troll about results, college, job, etc and now it's social media trolling. Be it anything, trolling is always there,” he was quoted as saying. Meanwhile, Liger, also starring Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, and Mike Tyson, is helmed by Puri Jagannadh. Backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, the film is set to arrive in theatres on August 25.
