Well, it seems that Vijay Deverakonda made an alleged controversial statement surrounding the box office fate of his upcoming pan-India film Liger .

Film critic and producer Kamaal R Khan aka KRK took to his Twitter handle to take a huge dig at Vijay Deverakonda for a recent statement of his when it comes to his movie Liger. Not only this but the Deshdrohi actor also mocked Vijay’s alleged whooping remuneration for the movie. KRK’s tweet read, “When a journalist asked Vijay anaconda that how will he feel if #Liger becomes flop. So he replied:- It is not a big thing for me. Actually, it’s nothing for me. If #Liger will become a flop, so let it be. True! Why will you have any problem when Karan Johar has paid you ₹35Cr?” Take a look at the tweet.

For the unversed, Vijay Deverakonda’s film Liger had recently come under the scanner of angry netizens who started trending to boycott the movie. It all started after the Arjun Reddy actor had come out in support of Aamir Khan when his film Laal Singh Chaddha was trending to be boycotted. Vijay had said that the boycott culture not only affects the lead actors but also the staff involved in the making of the movie. Well, immediately some netizens started hurling brickbats at the actor and started trending to boycott his movie Liger due to his statement against canceling Bollywood.

Another netizen reacted to Vijay Deverakonda’s statement stating, “Liger superflop movie. Almost zero advance bookings in Hindi, Tamil. Public teaching good lesson to these arrogant Bollywood actors.” Talking about the movie, it has been helmed by Puri Jagannadh.
