Bollywood is Bollywood today, because of a few pillars in the form of veteran actors aka thespians. The legendary Anupam Kher is one such pillar of Bollywood. Even though he runs his own acting academy, the fact remains that he is a walking-talking acting institution in himself! And, it is the very same Anupam Kher who showered immense praise of Bollywood superstar Kartik Aaryan at a recently held awards function.
On his part, Anupam Kher said, “I get a lot of inspiration from you, Kartik—not just as a senior actor but as a young actor, you are a very, very fine actor. You remind me of my early days—you come from a small town, you made it big, and yet, you still carry that sense of amazement.
The veteran actor continued, “Continue to that. And when you’ve completed 40 films, I want to see you with the same sense of achievement and amazement every time you receive an award.”
As for Kartik Aaryan, just like Anupam Kher said, there are many similarities between the two. Besides the other similarities, both Anupam Kher and Kartik Aaryan have made it really big in Bollywood with their sheer determination, seamless will power, dedication and utmost sincerity.
As for Anupam Kher, even at this age, he continues to give the ‘today’s stars’ a mega marathon run for their money. Anupam Kher’s latest release Vijay 69 was a testimony to the fact that, when a person thinks he can achieve something, nothing in the world can move or shake his faith in doing so. More or less, one of Kartik Aaryan’s recent films Chandu Champion, also follows a similar trajectory.
