‘World Cup trophy ke saath meri trophy’: Ranveer Singh celebrates Argentina’s win with wife Deepika Padukone; watch

Bollywood beauty Deepika Padukone flew down to Qatar a few days ago. She became the first global actor in the history of FIFA World Cup to unveil the trophy for the final match between Argentina and France. It was truly a proud moment not just for the actress and our country, but also her husband and football enthusiast Ranveer Singh who accompanied her to the stadium. Today, Deepika shared a glimpse of her time on the field along with a heartfelt caption, which read: “From unveiling the FIFA World Cup Trophy to witnessing one of the greatest games in sporting history, i truly couldn’t have asked for more…🙏🏽”

Much to our delight, Ranveer took to his official social media handle to share several sneak peeks of their time in the stands, while they witnessed team Argentina and Lionel Messi make history. Along with a happy photograph of the couple, the actor shared, “Asli trophy toh mere haath mein hai😉 @deepikapadukone.” He went on to add, “So glad & grateful that we witnessed this together.♾️💫” In another video, while Deepika unveiled the trophy, Ranveer could be heard shouting, “Love you Deepu, love you!” The proud husband also stated, “World Cup trophy ke saath meri trophy.”

Ranveer also shared a candid clip of him and Deepika witnessing the final winning goal. He held Deepika in his arms as he told her, “This is it, baby.” They went on to celebrate Argentina’s win with a tight long hug. While Deepika has a broad smile on her face, it is Ranveer’s expression which fans can relate too. He looks stunned, with his eyes wide open, enjoying the surreal historic moment. Deepika is wearing a black coat on top of her outfit in this clip, whereas Ranveer is dressed in red. Yet again, the two have given us solid couple goals with these videos.

On the work front, Ranveer is gearing up for Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus, whereas Deepika will next be seen in Pathaan opposite Shah Rukh Khan.
