    Aamir Khan on Sunday expressed his views on Vivek Agnihotri's The Kashmir Files and urged Indians to watch the film made on the subject of brutal sufferings endured by Kashmiri Pandits in 1990.

    Recently released The Kashmir Files is not only breaking records at the box office but also receiving raving reviews all over. Many celebrities across politics and Bollywood have been encouraging the audience to watch the film which is based on the exodus of the Kashmiri Pandits in the 1990s. Most recently, Superstar Aamir Khan has urged every Indian to go ahead and catch the show of the film.

    On Sunday, Aamir graced his presence at a fan event for the SS Rajamouli’s RRR in the national capital along with the cast including Ram Charan, Jr NTR, and Alia Bhatt . While interacting with the media, he spoke about The Kashmir Files and said that every Indian should watch it as it is based on a tragic event.

    The actor was asked if he had watched The Kashmir Files, to which he replied that he will definitely watch the film. “It is a part of our history which is heartbreaking. What happened with the Kashmiri Pandits is really very sad. Every Indian should watch the film made on this subject and should recall how it feels when a person goes through such trauma,” the actor said.

    Further, he went on to say that he would definitely watch the film that has touched the emotions of all people who believe in humanity, and it’s wonderful. “So I will definitely watch the film, and I am so happy that the film is successful,” he added.

    Directed by Vivek Agnihotri , The Kashmir Files stars Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Pallavi Joshi, Darshan Kumaar in pivotal roles. The film was released on March 11, 2022, and in just two weeks, it has managed to cross Rs 168 crore. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh in a tweet said that the film has so far earned Rs 168 crore net, and it is expected to rise during the second Monday.
