Adipurush: Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan’s film will arrive in theatres in January next year

On the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri, makers of the much anticipated Adipurush have announced a new release date for their film. The Om Raut directorial will now hit the theatres on January 12 in 2023. Sharing the update, South superstar Prabhas , who will be seen headlining the project, took to his official social media handle and wrote, "#Adipurush Worldwide Theatrical Release in 3D on 12th Jan 2023."

Actors Saif Ali Khan , Kriti Sanon and Sunny Singh are also a part of Adipurush, which is said to be the adaptation of the Indian epic Ramayana that revolves around the triumph of good over evil. While Prabhas will be seen as Raghava, Kriti is playing the role of Janaki and Sunny is portraying the role of Lakshmana. Saif Ali Khan, on the other hand, will be playing the role of Lankesh in the film.

Bhushan Kumar , Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles are producing the upcoming film, which will release in Hindi and Telugu along with its dubbed versions in Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. Not only is Adipurush one of the most awaited films of the Indian film industry, but is also one of the most expensive Indian films ever made.
