Anil Kapoor is gearing up to become a grandfather soon after his daughter and actress Sonam Kapoor announced her pregnancy with her husband Anand Ahuja . While Anil Kapoor expressed his happiness on his social media handle, the netizens were quick to hail him as the ‘youngest grandfather’ on the block. This was in reference to the running joke that the actor is ageing backwards with time.

While another fan wrote about the Mr India actor saying, “Mujee Bhe Asaa Dashing Nana Chaaye.” A user also stated how time flies and the news of Kapoor becoming a grandfather is still unbelievable. Meanwhile, according to a news report in The Times Of India, Sonam Kapoor will be welcoming her first child in August this year. The publication quoted a source close to The Zoya Factor actress’ family who revealed, “In fact, she is four months pregnant. So, she will deliver mostly in August 2022. She wasn't seen around much in recent times and this was precisely the reason. A lot of friends and relatives had got the whiff of it but she did not confirm with most of them, until today.”
