Animal: Ranbir Kapoor’s new picture from set goes viral; actor to play a physics lecturer turned gangster?

One year ago, before Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor made his comeback on the silver screen with Shamshera, his first picture from Animal went viral on the internet. Also featuring Rashmika Mandanna, the snap was clicked in Manali. A few months later another still of Ranbir and his co-star Anil Kapoor took social media by storm. These pictures were far different from the actor’s look in the first poster of the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial, which stars Ranbir with a scruffy beard, shoulder length long hair and an axe under his arm.

Much to the delight of movie lovers who are eagerly waiting to see Ranbir in and as Animal, a new picture from the set has now been leaked on social media. Once again we witness a clean shaven Ranbir, this time dressed as a school boy. His hair is messy and all over his forehead and around his neck is a red and white striped tie. Well, this picture is not the only thing which was leaked from set. The netizen who shared this snap of Ranbir also apparently revealed what the plot of the movie could be.

The netizen wrote: “#RanbirKapoor will play a physics lecturer in #Animal who is the son of a gangster #AnilKapoor , reportedly after his father gets cheated by his rival #BobbyDeol and #ShaktiKapoor he will transform himself into a violent Gangster.” In the comment section below some are wondering if Animal will be something like Godfather, whereas many other social media users are trolling the netizen for revealing the entire plot on Twitter. Well, maybe the netizen is only making guesses. We’ll just have to wait and watch when Animal arrives in theatres on 11th August.

Also starring Bobby Deol and Tripti Dimri, the film marks Vanga’s second Bollywood directorial after Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani’s Kabir Singh.
