Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania is having a rough go at it even before its release, the recent early reviews for the movie have been mixed and that has caused the movie to have a 54% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Making it the second MCU movie after 2021's Eternals to have a rotten score on the website based on 122 reviews.

The fourth phase of the MCU has been the most poorly received phase of the MCU, despite hits like Spiderman: No Way Home and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

This meant that there is a lot riding on Ant-Man 3, which will be the first movie of Phase 5 and will directly lead up to the events of the next Avengers movie.

Now, this rating is sure to change when the movie comes out this Friday and despite mixed reviews from critics, there is a strong possibility that audiences may like the movie.

Currently, the movie is estimated to gross somewhere between 96 million and 131 million from domestic territories and a total of around 249 million to 347 million by the end of its theatrical run.

In India, as of Sunday, the movie has sold over 30,000 tickets after advance booking opened last weekend not bad considering the lack of popularity of the franchise in the country compared to Black Panther, which managed to secure 40,000 within the same timeframe.

The project will be the biggest Ant-Man movie to date, with Peyton Reed returning to direct making him the second director to complete an MCU trilogy along with Jon Watts (Spider-Man).
