Ant-Man & Wasp Quantumania's new promo reveals that Kang the Conqueror may have killed Ant-Man in a different timeline

    The promo hints that Kang has faced off against Ant-Man and the Avengers before.

    The latest promo for the upcoming third installment in the Ant-Man franchise is gearing up for its release next month had finally dropped and it has a shocking revelation from Kang the Conqueror.

    While most of the promo contains footage we saw in the trailer, towards the end we hear Kang and Scott Lang share a conversation, in which Kang hints that he has defeated both Ant-Man and The Avengers before.

    We do know that Kang has the ability to not only time travel but also go to different timelines, so this revelation from the supervillain could mean that he had faced multiple versions of Earth's mightiest heroes and defeated them.

    This leads to the question of can ScotLang and his family survive their encounter with Kang. Thankfully we won't have to wait too long to find out.

    The third installment in the franchise, Ant-Man, and the Wasp: Quantumania will be the first movie in the fifth phase of the MCU and will also be directly linked to the next Avenger movie The Kang Dynasty.

    The project will be the biggest Ant-Man movie to date, with Peyton Reed returning to direct making him the second director to complete an MCU trilogy along with Jon Watts (Spider-Man).

    The supervillain MODOK will be making his MCU debut in the movie. He is a mutated version of Darren Cross aka Yellowjacket, the main antagonist of the first Ant-Man movie.

    The movie will be set inside the Quantum Realm and also introduce the city of Chronopolis, which is ruled by Kang. In the comics, is a multiversal city ruled by Kang the Conqueror. It is a city of limitless time and the center of Kang's conquest.

    This will be the third Ant-Man movie starring Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Kathryn Newton, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Michael Douglas.

    Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is set to hit the big screen on February 17, 2023.
