Anupam Kher reveals Salman Khan called him after watching The Kashmir Files; here’s what the superstar said

Anupam Kher’s The Kashmir Files is witnessing an astounding success at the box office and has also managed to impress the critics. The movie is also managing to impress some members of the Bollywood fraternity, the latest being Salman Khan . In his latest interaction at Times Now Navbharat’s Frankly Speaking, Kher spoke about Salman’s reaction after watching the movie.

Anupam Kher was asked about Bollywood celebrities who reached out to him on the success of the film. The Hum Apke Hai Kon actor was quick to say that Salman Khan was one of the celebs who called him up after watching the movie. Kher said, “But individually, I must say, Salman Khan called me the other day and congratulated me.”

Apart from this, the actor was also asked about fewer Bollywood stars reacting to the box office success of The Kashmir Files. On this, Anupam Kher said, “As far as the Hindi film industry is concerned, I think they’re too much in a shock. Aisa kabhi hua nahi hai. Whenever a shocking thing happens, it’s a very very strange reaction.”

Meanwhile, Salman Khan is not the only one to praise the movie, Aamir Khan also heaped words of praise for the film. In an event for the movie RRR , Aamir spoke about The Kashmir Files saying, “What happened to Kashmiri Pandits is a matter of great sorrow. Such a film must be watched by all Indians so that they can remember what occurred. This film has touched the emotions of all people who believe in humanity and that is what is so beautiful about it. I will definitely watch the film and I am happy to see that the film is successful.”

Akshay Kumar is yet another celebrity who praised The Kashmir Files in a press event. Director Vivek Agnihotri also shared the actor’s appreciation for the movie. Akshay had jokingly added how the movie defeated his own film Bachchhan Paandey at the box office.
