Arjun Kapoor’s next is an out and out comedy with two heroines; film will be called ‘Meri Patni Ka Remake’

After a fantastic year with three back to back releases like Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar , Sardar Ka Grandson and Bhoot Police, actor Arjun Kapoor is gearing up for an even more exciting 2022. He has already completed the shoot of Mohit Suri ’s Ek Villain Returns, co-starring John Abraham, Disha Patani and Tara Sutaria , and has also wrapped up Kuttey , which is helmed by Vishal Bhardwaj. Well, the actor’s next film in line is an out and out comedy with Mudassar Aziz. The project will be starring two female leads.

According to a report shared by Pinkvilla, the film has been titled ‘ Meri Patni Ka Remake ’. A source revealed, “After contemplating on several options, Mudassar has got a title that will make his film stand out from the rest. He has decided to call his film Meri Patni Ka Remake and is sure that this title in itself will spike anticipation around the audience. The title blends well the world that Mudassar is trying to create in his comic caper. Arjun too is excited to do an out and out comedy after a long time.”

Makers are currently in talks with two actresses for the role of the female leads. The ensemble cast will also star various popular actors who are known for their impeccable comic timing. As soon as the star cast is locked, the film will go on floors hopefully by the second half of the year. Well, this is enough to pique our interest! Meanwhile, Arjun is busy filming Ajay Bahl’s directorial, titled The Lady Killer, alongside actress Bhumi Pednekar currently. It’s going to be a busy year for the actor and we can’t wait to see him shine on-screen in different characters!
