    Malayalam star Tovino Thomas is all set to entertain the audience with his upcoming flick! Taking to his social media handles, the Mollywood actor revealed the first look poster of his upcoming film Avaran. Directed by Shilpa Alexander, the new film is touted to be a romantic comedy-drama.

    The new first-look poster reveals Tovino Thomas giving a smirk while donning a pink printed shirt and white mundu. He is seen seated against the backdrop of an intriguing painting. The new motion poster promises that the young talent is set to essay a romantic role of a Malayalee ‘achayan.’ Although the makers have been tight-lipped about the details, the poster hints at a fun and entertaining romantic comedy-drama fans can look forward to watching very soon! The new poster was launched by Mollywood stars Mohanlal, Mammootty, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Manju Warrier through their social media handles.

    The upcoming film is directed by Shilpa Alexander, who is best known for being the Chief Associate Director of the Biju Menon-starrer Padayottam. Shilpa is making her debut as a director with this Tovino-starrer. The upcoming film is written by veteran scenarist Benny P. Nayarambalam, who is known for writing screenplays for films such as Junior Mandrake, Kalyanaraman, Kunjikoonan, Chotta Mumbai, Thommanum Makkalum, and Marykkundoru Kunjadu, among others. Avaran is bankrolled by Jinu V. Abraham under the banner of Jinu Abraham Innovation. On the technical front, the movie has cinematography handled by Jomon T. John, editing by Shameer Muhammed, and original background music and soundtracks composed by Jakes Bejoy.
