Avatar re-release will have a never before seen post credit scene from Avatar: The Way of Water

    The re-release of James Cameron hit theaters today and rumor has it that the movie will have a post-credit scene from the upcoming sequel as a treat for fans.

    The re-release of James Cameron's 2009 blockbuster Avatar is rolling out worldwide today, and this version of the movie will have a post-credit scene for fans.

    Post-credit scenes have become more popular in movies thanks to in no small parts to the MCU which stayed the trend with the 2009 Iron Man, and according to sources, the post-credit scene isn't just there to tease the upcoming sequel rather is never before footage from Way fo Water.

    The rumor also adds that your experience will be different if you are watching the movie on a screen that supports HFR, which is a screen that can play footage at a higher frame rate than the normal 24 frames per second.

    This is definitely a fun way to promote the upcoming Avatar: The Way of Water, the response to the re-release had been positive. 

    The re-release is especially a great time for those who missed out on watching the movie when it came out back in 2009 add the fact that the movie's visual effects do more than hold up a decade after its original release is a testament to James Cameron and his team.

    In the sequel Jake and the Navi have to deal with a second human invasion of Pandora, the main cast of the movie includes Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, and Cliff Curtis.

    Avatar: The Way of Water will hit theaters on December 16, 2022.
