Bangarraju reactions: Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya's father son combo is a hit with fans

Despite the delays, the supernatural drama Bangarraju finally hit theaters this weekend. The movie is a sequel to the successful 2016 movie Soggade Chinni Nayana which starred Nagarjuna in the lead.

In Soggade Chinni Nayana, Nagarjuna plays the role of a ghost named Bangarraju who is sent back to the world of the living to reconcile with his son. Nagarjuna is reprising his role alongside Ramya Krishna who is playing the role of his wife Satyabhama in the original.

Naga Chaitanya plays the role of Bangarraju's grandson who gets into trouble in his hometown so he needs his grandfather's help.

This is the second time Nagarjuna and son Naga Chaitanya have collaborated, the first time in the 2014 movie Manam.

Nagachaitanya admitted in a recent interview being nervous about working with his father who is far more experience and is a legend in his own right. The actor, however, admitted that more than him his father gets nervous on collaborating with his son. “He goes out of his way to put me at ease. Whether it’s working with my uncle Venkatesh in Venky Mama or my father in Manam and Bangarraju , I am required to re-adjust and modify my acting style. They belong to a different school of acting where every emotion has to be emphasized whereas I like to underplay.”

The father son duo seem to be doing a great job so far of entertaining audience with this unique opportunity. Bangarajju arrived in cinemas on Sankranti and has been met with all the festive excitement by fans in the theatres.
