Bholaa box office day 1: Ajay Devgn and Tabu starrer starts off at a promising note, mints this much

The Ajay Devgn starrer Bholaa was released in the theatres yesterday (March 30) and has now managed to garner a decent number at the box office on its first day. The movie is a Hindi adaptation of the 2019 Tamil film Kaithi. It has been helmed by the superstar himself and also stars Tabu in the lead role.

Talking about the same, news analyst Taran Adarsh stated that Bholaa saw a healthy footfall during the spot bookings on its first day which coincided with the festival of Ram Navmi. However, he stressed that the turnouts were more during the evening shows rather than in the morning or afternoon shows. The movie has now managed to garner Rs 11.20 crore on its first day. The demand for the movie is still higher in the mass centers and that it needs to pace up over the weekend to garner a decent box office number. Take a look at his tweet.

Apart from this, a news report in Box Office India stated how the Ram Navmi holiday worked in the favor of the movie. The report stated, “Bholaa put up a decent first day total of around Rs 10 crore nett plus thanks to a holiday in parts of the country and a decent performance in current after a dull advance. Some of the mass circuits suggest a higher total but are likely to be compensated by a lower ratio of business coming from South and Maharashtra which will have low numbers. There is no holiday in the South outside Nizam / Andhra but that had a big local release."

The movie Bholaa marks the fourth directorial venture of Ajay Devgn and the movie is being praised for its intense performances and special effects. The film also stars Deepak Dobriyal, Sanjay Mishra, Amala Paul, and others in pivotal roles. The movie might also see a sequel depending on the box office numbers.
