Brahmastra: Megastar Chiranjeevi to be part of Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt starrer fantasy sci-fi drama

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra is the most anticipated movie of the year. Ever since the film was announced, the fans have been eagerly waiting for this mega-budget fantasy sci-fi drama. If reports are to be believed, the film’s stake is set to go even higher as South superstar Chiranjeevi has come on board to have a special association with the film.
The film’s director Ayan Mukerji has reportedly flown to Hyderabad to have a meeting with the megastar and finalise the details. The makers of the magnum opus will soon make an announcement about the same. The film already has legendary Amitabh Bachchan in a prominent role, and now with Chiranjeevi onboard, the film will definitely have something extraordinary to offer.
The makers are all set to unveil the much-awaited trailer of Brahmastra on June 15. Ahead of it, they have been sharing the first look character poster of the ensemble cast from the film. Most recently, they introduced Nagarjuna Akinneni as Artist Anish in the majestic motion poster. Earlier, they have treated fans with glimpses of Shiva and Isha essayed by Ranbir and Alia respectively. While Amitabh is introduced as Guru, Mouni Roy is the antagonist in the film. The film marks husband and wife Ranbir and Alia’s first film together.
Karan Johar ’s Dharma Productions has bankrolled the magnum opus with Star Studios , Prime Focus, and Starlight Pictures. The film is a pan-India project with filmmaker SS Rajamouli presenting the film in four other languages- Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam, apart from Hindi. Made on a whopping Rs 300 crore budget, the film is a 3-part film franchise offering never-seen-before spectacles. Set in the modern world, the film is inspired by deeply rooted concepts and tales in Indian mythology with epic storytelling of fantasy, adventure, good vs evil, love, and hope.It is set for theatrical release on September 9.
