Brahmāstra: Ranbir Kapoor to reunite with Deepika Padukone, scene will have strong connection to part 2?

The much awaited Brahmāstra has been in the news ever since it was announced and the craze behind the upcoming film only increased after lead stars Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor tied the nuptial knot in April this year. Also featuring megastar Amitabh Bachchan , South superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni and actress Mouni Roy , who will be seen as antagonist Junoon, the fantasy adventure film is the first in a planned trilogy. Well, apart from having a stellar cast and being the third collaboration between Ranbir and Ayan Mukerji , the film also boasts of a cameo by Shah Rukh Khan .

Well, according to the latest report shared by Bollywood Life, king SRK is not the only actor who will be seen in a special appearance. Sources have revealed that Deepika Padukone , who worked with Ayan, producer Karan Johar and Ranbir in the 2013 blockbuster hit Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani , has also been roped in for a ‘smashing cameo’ in Brahmāstra – Part One: Shiva. That’s right! The film will mark her reunion with Ranbir after 7 long years. The report further suggests that Deepika’s cameo will hold a strong connection to the second part in the trilogy.

Deepika and Ranbir are one of the most loved on-screen jodis of all time thanks to their electric chemistry, and seeing them together in Brahmāstra will definitely be a treat for fans. While Ranbir will be playing the role of Shiva in the film, Alia is portraying the role of his love interest Isha. We can’t wait to find out what character Deepika has bagged in the film when it releases in theatres on 9th September.
