Brahmāstra trailer: Anushka Sharma lauds Ranbir-Alia starrer as ‘promising’; Janhvi calls it ‘a first for Hindi cinema’

Husband-wife Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are all set to shine on the big screen this year in Brahmāstra , which marks their very first film together. Helmed by ace filmmaker Ayan Mukerji , who directed the former in Wake Up Sid and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani , the fantasy action film also stars Amitabh Bachchan , Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni in pivotal roles with a special cameo by Shah Rukh Khan . Well, the much awaited trailer of Brahmāstra – Part One: Shiva released earlier today and it turned out to be even better than what fans had in mind.

Not just netizens but even celebrities are in awe of the trailer and many have taken to their official social media handles to laud the Ranbir and Alia starrer. Actress Anushka Sharma shared the trailer with a note which read: “This looks so promising and exciting 👏 Kudos team #Brahmāstra 🔱.” Janhvi Kapoor , on the other hand, showered love on the team and wrote: “This is huge!!! A first for Hindi cinema 🙌 Feel such pride to finally see a glimpse of this spectacular vision!! Truly a world like we've never seen before.” She also added a GIF which said ‘can’t wait’.

Not just Anushka and Janhvi, but several other actors shared the trailer on their Instagram stories including Ananya Panday , Shanaya Kapoor and even South sensation Vijay Deverakonda . While Shanaya called it ‘spell bounding’, her BFF Ananya shared her excitement with a message which read: “Mega Mega Mega!!!! 😍😍😍😍 this is out of this world!!!!🪐🤩”

The first in a planned trilogy, Brahmāstra – Part One: Shiva will arrive in theatres on 9th September this year.
