    The actress will play the role of Lady Margot Fenring in the upcoming sequel to Dune.

    The second part of director Denis Villeneuve's science fiction masterpiece Dune is set to start production next month, the movie already boasts an impressive cast.

    So far, Florence Pugh, Austin Butler , and Christopher Walken have joined the sequel's cast playing the roles of Princess Irulan, Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen, and Emperor Shaddam IV respectively.

    Now, french actress, Lea Seydoux joins the growing cast and will be playing the role of Lady Margot Fenring.

    The actress is coming out of recent success with the sci-fi movie Crimes of the Future.

    In Frank Herbert's novels, Lady Margot Fenring a scheming aristocrat and the wife of Mentat Count Hasimir Fenring, while she only plays a minor role in the first book her sigifiance to the story grows in the subsequent books in the series.

    The casting of Lea Seydoux could mean that director Dennis Villanueva pans on making more Dune sequels after Part two is completed.

    The sequel will continue the story of Paul Atreides as he begins to accept his destiny and raise a large army and take back the planet from his enemies.

    Hans Zimmer will return to compose the music for the sequel

    The returning cast members are Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Javier Bardem, Josh Brolin, and Dave Bautista.

    Dune: Part two is set to release on October 20, 2023.
