Deva Box Office Collection Day 2: Shahid Kapoor and Pooja Hegde starrer Deva was released in theatres on January 31, 2025. It marked the debut of Malayalam director Rosshan Andrrews in Bollywood. The film opened to mixed reviews but it managed to fair decently at the box office. Shahid's film enjoyed a steady run on day two as well. Here's how much it collected:

According to Sacnilk, Deva took an opening of Rs 5.50 crore. Now, the early estimates as per the website suggest that the Shahid Kapoor starrer has earned approximately Rs 6.25 crore, further taking its total collection to Rs 11.75 crore. Looking at the upward trend, it seems like the film has the potential to take a jump on Sunday. However, due to facing tough competition from Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya's Sky Force, it might see a dip. 

In the film, Shahid essays the role of ACP Dev Ambre while Pooja is a journalist. It is an adaptation of Rosshan Andrrews' 2013 film Mumbai Police starring Prithviraj Sukumaran. But he made changes to the Hindi version, especially the climax. Hence Deva was not able to leave the same impact as the Malayalam film. Interestingly, Deva is expected to land on Netflix once its theatrical run ends. 

The film also stars Pravessh Rana, Pavail Gulatie, and Kubbra Sait in key roles. 

What's next for Shahid Kapoor?

After Deva, Shahid will be seen in Vishal Bhardwaj's untitled next. He will be seen alongside Triptii Dimri. It will hit the theatres on December 5, 2025. In January this year, the team started shooting for the film. Shahid also has Ashwatthama: The Saga Continues. But as of now, the film is on hold due to budget constraints and logistical challenges.

Recently, it was also rumored that Shahid has been approached for Cocktail 2 alongside Kriti Sanon. The makers are yet to confirm the same.
