Dhaakad: Kangana Ranaut promises biggest action thriller of the year, urges fans to book tickets in advance; Watch

Kangana Ranaut is gearing up for the release of her long-awaited Dhaakad on May 20. The film is creating a lot of buzz for its extraordinary screenplay and unmatchable action sequences. Ahead of its release, Kangana urged fans to book tickets in advance to get the missing dose of entertainment in her upcoming big-budget action thriller.

Taking to her Instagram handle, Kangana shared a short clip wherein she promised fans the biggest action thriller of the year. Dressed in a yellow saree, the actress said, “Everyone is in tension learning that Kangana is giving so many interviews, appearing on social media these days, yet no controversies are happening, no scoops, no entertainment happening! So let me tell you one thing, there will be fights, and lots of smashing on the big screen in the big-budget action thriller, Dhaakad.”

Directed by Razneesh Ghai, Dhaakad features Kangana in a never seen avatar of spy agent Agni, who will be seen performing some impeccable action sequences in the movie. Talking about it, she had said, "A crew came from Hollywood and also from Korea for the training. So, it's a team effort and no single person can be given the credit. This movie has the longest fight sequence in Hindi cinema, approximately 14 minutes."

Besides Kangana, the film also features Arjun Rampal and Divya Dutta in villainous roles. According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film has been granted an 'A' or 'Adults Only' certificate by the CBFC. The runtime of the movie has also been revealed to be 2 hours and 11 minutes.

Produced by Soham Rockstar Entertainment Pvt Ltd in association with Kamal Mukut, Sohel Maklai Productions, and Asylum films, Dhaakad is set to clash with Kartik Aaryan ’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. While Kangana’s film is an action thriller, Kartik’s is horror-comedy, it is yet to be known which film will win the box office numbers.
