Dhanush reveals motion poster for his upcoming Telugu debut Vaathi aka Sir

Actor Dhanush revealed the first motion for his new movie Vaathi aka Sir, the movie is bilingual and will be shot in Tamil and Telugu the movie will also be the actor's first entry into the Telugu film industry, Dhanush will play the role of a college professor in the movie, the movie is directed by Venky Atluri who previously directed the rom-com Rang De starring Keerthy Suresh and Nithiin.

While the rest of the cast is yet to be announced, Composer G V Prakash is handling the music for the movie with Dinesh Krishnan handling the camera.

The movie is a period drama and will focus on the struggles of one man against the growing greed and corruption in the education system, the movie does not have an official release date but we can expect for news in the coming months.

For now, Dhanush fans will be able to see him in Atrangi Re , which is the first Bollywood outing of the actor in six year. The film stars Sara Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar and releases on Disney + Hotstar this Christmas Eve.

2021 also had Dhanush venturing out into Hollywood as he shot for Anthony and Joe Russo 's The Gray Man , which also stars Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans.

He will also be seen in his brother’s directorial Selvaraghavan soon.
