    Did Shahid Kapoor accidentally reveal his look from upcoming actioner with Ali Abbas Zafar?

    Shahid Kapoor has teamed up with filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar for an action entertainer and on the filmmaker’s birthday the actor ended up revealing his look from their film in an honest mistake. Shahid shared the picture in question in his Instagram stories to wish the filmmaker a Happy Birthday but instead got pulled up for it.

    In his post, Shahid wrote, “Happy happy birthday Ali Abbas Zafar. Love you loads brother. Can’t wait to see you soon on set.” Replying to the birthday wish, Ali wrote while resharing the actor's Instagram story post, “Thank you, Shahid Kapoor. Look out kar diya… Well done.”

    Ali and Shahid’s film is the Hindi adaptation of the French film Nuit Blanche which released in 2011. Shahid is reportedly playing a cop in the movie chasing drug lord across the city. The project kicked off in November and will apparently showcase a day in the life of Shahid’s character whose daughter gets nabbed by the drug lords he is chasing.

    While announcing the project Shahid had shared a picture with filmmaker and promised “Blood… crime… and lots of action,” in the film. According to a certain reports the movie is titled Blood Daddy .

    The project with Ali isn’t Shahid’s only actioner in the pipeline. The actor has also coolaborated with filmmakers Raj and DK who have already delivered a blockbuster series like The Family Man .

    For most part of 2021, Shahid was busy shooting for his web series debut which also feature Vijay Sethupathi. The makers are yet to set a release date for the project which will arrive on Amazon Prime Video .

    Meanwhile, Shahid fans will be able to see him in his ready to release film Jersey next which is a sports drama. The film was lined up for release on New Year’s Eve and has now been delayed owing to the third was of Covid-19.
