    Back in 2019, Ekta Kapoor announced her project, K’Tina starring Disha Patani in the lead role. However, it was later speculated to be shelved owing to the pandemic as the shooting suffered. Reportedly, the project is back on track but with major changes. Unfortunately, Disha will not be part of the cast, instead, Nushrratt Bharuccha and Ananya Panday are in the runnings for the lead part.

    As per the latest reports, the makers have decided to resurrect the project with a whole new cast. Hence, looking for the leading lady for the part who can justify the part. Once worked in Ekta’s Dream Girl, Nushrratt is being again considered for the part. While Ananya, who is part of the Dream Girl 2, was also approached for the role as per Pinkvilla. Well, it is yet to be confirmed who bags the role.

At that time, netizens wondered if it is a biopic of Ekta, who is known for wearing precious gems and using K in most of her film’s titles. The film has been written by Raaj Shaandilyaa, and it is reported to be directed by Ashima Chibber.

    Meanwhile, besides K’Tina, Ekta is also awaiting the release of her upcoming production venture, Goodbye. Directed by Vikas Bahl, the film marks the Bollywood debut of south sensation Rashmika Mandanna. It also features Amitabh Bachchan, Neena Gupta, Sunil Grover, and Pavail Gulati in pivotal roles. It is set to release on October 7.
