The Disney sequel to the classic 1988 fantasy movie will premier this month, the series will see the return of actor Warwick Davis as the sorcerer Willow Ufgood.

The new adventure sees Willow lead a team of young adventurers on a quest to save the world from the forces of darkness.

In the newly released clip, we see the daughter of Lady Sorsha approaching Willow and asking him to find and protect her twin brother who has gone missing.

In the 1988 movie, Sorcha is the daughter of the evil queen Bavmorda who helped willow and his friends stop her mother.

Joanne Whalley reprises her role as Sorsha, while newcomers Ruby Cruz and Dempsey Bryk play her daughter Kit and son Airk respectively.

Val Kilmer who played the heroic Madmartigan in the original movie was not able to be part of the production due to his health issues.

The BTS video features executive producer Ron Howard, who also directed the original, and the rest of the cast mainly Warwick Davis, Christian Slater, and Erin Kellyman talking about their experience working on the show.

The 1988 movie was unique in the sword and sorcery genre mainly due to it breaking away from a lot of stereotypes and cliches of the genre and is the reason why it has a special place among fans of the genre.

Hopefully, the new series will be able to recreate the magic of the original. Willow will stream on Disney+ on November 30.
