    Drishyam 2 is the sequel to the 2015 film Drishyam, which was an official Hindi remake of the Mohanlal-starrer Malayalam hit of the same name. In the upcoming film, Ajay, Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta, Tabu, and Rajat Kapoor are reprising their roles while Akshaye Khanna is a new addition to the cast.

    After sharing the recall teaser of Drishyam, Ajay Devgn has finally unveiled the trailer of its much-awaited sequel Drishyam 2 . The film promises an edge-of-the-seat thriller as the old case of Vijay Saglaonkar and his family reopens. And this time Akshaye Khanna as investigating officer teams up with vengeful mother Tabu to probe the unsolved case.

    The trailer begins with Vijay Saglaonkar played by Ajay telling that his family is being chased for Sam’s disappearance after seven years. Akshaye starts investigating the case while Ajay counsels his family to not take unwanted tension. Shriya Saran who plays Ajay’s wife in the film wonders why the case is reopened, to which Ajay says the investigation will be carried on till they are alive. When Akshaye fails to prove Ajay guilty due to a lack of evidence, Tabu, who plays the role of a police officer, and Sam's mother, comes to his rescue. Check the trailer here:

    Sharing the trailer on Instagram, Ajay wrote, “Shabdon pe nahin, drishyon pe dhyaan do. Kyunki shabdon mein, jhoot chupne ki jagah dhoond hi leta hai.” Earlier the actor shared a poster in which he can be seen sitting inside an interrogation room and is seen accompanied by Tabu and Akshaye. Along with the poster, he wrote, "Sach ped ke beej ki tarah hota hai. Jitna bhi chahe dafnaalo, woh ek din bahar aa hi jaata hai.”
