Dwayne Johnson thanks fans for their support of DC League of Super Pets
The actor took to social media to thank the fans who went to see and grade the movie over the weekend.
The movie is currently number one at the US box office, earning a solid $23 million in its opening frame, and Super Pets grossed over 40 million worldwide in its opening weekend.
The movie also holds aA- CinemaScore, the movie has a star-studded cast that includes Dwyane Johnson, Kevin Hart , Keanu Reeves, and John Krasinski.
In the movie, Johnson voices Krypto, Superman's pet dog who must gather an unlikely team of super pets in order to rescue the Justice League.
Dwayne Johnson took to Twitter to thank all the families who went to see the movie and for also grading the movie an A-.
The movie is directed by Jared Stern and is based on the DC comic series Legion of Super-Pets, which originally appeared in Adventure Comics #293 in February 1962.
The movie recieved mioxed reactions from crtics but seems to be a hit with family audicnes

The film also currently holds a 72% critics and 89% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. It could be that word of mouth will help DC League of Super-Pets find a broader audience.
Johnson's next movie Black Adam in which he will be playing the iconic anti-hero will hit the big screen in October, Black Adam had a small cameo in Super Pets as well.
The full cast of the movie includes Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Kate McKinnon, John Krasinski, Vanessa Bayer, Natasha Lyonne, Diego Luna, Thomas Middleditch, Ben Schwartz, and Keanu Reeves.
DC League of Super-Pets is currently running in theaters.
