Exclusive: John Abraham on healing after action sequences in Attack- ‘There is no recovery for my body’

In his career of 19 long years as an actor, the supremely handsome John Abraham has worked in films of various genres. May it be comedies like Garam Masala and Dostana or thrillers such as Jism and Saaya. But one genre which seems like it comes naturally to the actor is action! Proof of the same is his performance in films like Satyameva Jayate, Mumbai Saga and the recently released Attack. Also starring Jacqueline Fernandez and Rakul Preet Singh , the film featured John as a super soldier. While the film received mixed reviews, John left audiences in awe yet again with his epic action sequences.

Well, recently when he was asked how his body recovers after a physically exhausting film like Attack, he replied, “There is no recovery for my body because my body is put through the drill every day. Even when I am not shooting a film like Attack, so my rest days are calibrated in between my workouts in any case. Of course, when you do an action scene you have to prepare for injuries and that's something that goes way beyond your purview of preparing your body.”

After a theatrical release, the film will now be available for streaming on ZEE5 from 27th May. Meanwhile, John is now busy gearing up for his upcoming projects. He will be sharing the big screen with Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in Siddharth Anand’s Pathaan , which features him as the antagonist, and will also be seen in Mohit Suri 's Ek Villain Returns alongside Tara Sutaria , Arjun Kapoor and Disha Patani .
