Fahadh Faasil to star alongside Prabhu Deva in his Kannada debut 'Bagheera'

    Fahadh Faasil who made a spectacular debut in Tollywood by playing the menacing villain Bhanwar Singh Shekawat in the blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise is all set to make his debut in the Kannada film industry.

    The actor will be playing a major role in the Prabhu Deva starrer Bagheera, which is being produced by the makers of the KGF franchise: Hombale Films.

    In Bagheera, Prabhu Deva plays a serial killer, who always targets women. The movie is directed by Adhik Ravichandran and Soori. with a screenplay co-written by Prashanth Neel, Adhik Ravichandran, and Soori.

    The rest of the supporting cast of the movie includes Amyra Dastur, Sakshi Agarwal, Sonia Agarwal, Janani Iyer, and Ramya Nambeeshan.

    Fahadh Fassil is expected to join the production in February.

    This will be Fahadh Faasil's second collaboration with the studio, he previously worked with them in the upcoming Malayalam movie Dhoomam .

    Dhoomam is the second Malayalam movie bankrolled by the studio after Prithivraj's Tyson, which will also be the actor's second directorial venture after 2019 Lucifer.

    Hombale Studios has projects lined up in all major Indian movie industries.

    As for Dhoomam, the movie is currently in post-production. The movie is directed by Pawan Kumar known for making critically acclaimed movies like Lucia and U-Turn.

    The movie will be released in all major Indian languages and the supporting cast includes Aparna Balamurali , Joy Mathew, Dev Mohan, and Anu Mohan.

    Fahadh Fassil has 5 other projects lined up for 2023, they are Maamannan in which he will be acting with Udhayanidhi Stalin for the first time, Paachuvum Albhuthavilakkum, Paattu, Hanuman Gear, and finally the sequel to Pushpa; Pushpa 2: The Rule.

    He will be acting alongside Allu Arjun, Mohanlal, Vijay Sethupathi, Rashmika Mandanna, Prakash Raj, and Sriram Reddy.

    The actor is also rumored to have a cameo in Vijay's Thalapthy 67, in which he will be reprising his role for Vikram.
