    Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness which is set to hit theaters in May is one of the most anticipated movies of the year and will bring huge changes to the MCU as we know it mainly by introducing audiences to a whole range of new heroes and villains.

    While the recent trailer introduced Charles Xavier for a brief second, many more cameos and introductions are anticipated. We still only have theories and speculations on what to expect as the different Marvel universes collide. 

    The movie will see Doctor Strange deal with the consequences of messing with the multiverse picking up from where we were left in Spider-Man : No Way Home and how shatters our reality.

    While hardcore fans of The MCU will be able to keep up and catch all the easter eggs and new characters, for those who need some extra help we decided to compile a list of ten shows and movies from the MCU to get you caught up on current events and Doctor Strange's new adventure.

    WandaVision(2021)

    The Disney + show deals with Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch dealing with the consequences of her battle with Thanos in Avengers: End Game and realizing her true potential. She will be joining Doctor Strange in his mad adventure and was shown at the end of the series to have gotten in contact with him.

     Considering she will be playing a big role in the Multiverse of Madness this show is a must-watch.

    Loki(2021)

    The show follows the adventures of the god of mischief after the events of Avengers: End Game and his arrest by the Time Keepers a group created to maintain the balance of the timeline, and since there are rumors of a cameo and how both the upcoming movie and the show deal with similar themes, you should add it to your watch list. 

    The concept of multiverses is first introduced in the Marvel series where we also met Jonathan Majors as the timekeeper 'Kang the Conqueror' who has an important role in future MCU projects.

    Spider-Man: No Way Home(2021)

    The last movie on our list, is the movie that eventually leads up to the events that have been teased to unfold in the Multiverse of Madness after Doctor Strange tries to help Peter Parker hide his identity from the world by using a spell that leads to the walls between different dimensions to collapse and introduced the concept of the multiverse in the MCU.
