Good news Ajith fans, AK62 title will be officially unveiled sooner than expected

According to a new report the title of AK62 will be announced sometime next week, initially, the movie title reveal was pushed back because Ajith had planned to go on a world tour on his bike.

But it seems that the actor has postponed his plans to next year. Currently, Ajith is enjoying the success of his movie Thunivu.

Thunivu will be the third collaboration between Ajith and the director after 2019s Nerkonda Paarvai and 2022s Valimai.

The movie revied mixed reviews from critics but was a commercial success having grossed over 250 crores worldwide, giving the actor his first big hit of 2023.

The movie follows a group of mercenaries who are robbing a bank in Chennai and are led by Ajith.

The full cast of the movie includes Manju Warrier as Kanmani, Samuthirakani as Dayalan, Ajay as Ramachandran, GM Sundar as Muthazhagan, Veera as Radha, John Kokken as Krish, Bhagavathi Perumal as Rajesh, and Prem Kumar as Prem.

As for AK62 initially, director Vignesh Shivan was helming the project but dropped out due to creating differences so director Magizh Thirumeni known for movies like Kalaga Thalaivan and Thadam took over the reins.

There was a lot of good buzz surrounding the project, such as the movie will feature both Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Trisha Krishna in major roles.

And Arvind Swami has been cast as the main antagonist in the movie, which had many Ajith fans excited about the project.

The shooting for the project was scheduled to begin in the first week of March in Mumbai and is expected to wrap up in 35-40 days.

However, with the change in direction for AK62, we will have to wait a while till we can know more about the plot and cast of the movie.

We do know that the music for the project will be handled by Anirudh, and Nirav Shah known for his work in movies like Dhoom, Wanted, and 2.0 is in charge of cinematography.
