Henry Cavill's return as Superman in the DCEU looks promising according to an inside source

While Dwayne Johnson's response to Henry Cavill's return as Superman left fans disappointed, it seems that the new management at Warner Bros Studio is very eager to have the actor return.

With the recent announcement by Warner Bros that most of their upcoming lineup of DC movies is being pushed back it seems clear that the future of the DCEU is going to be messy at best.

Until the new management at Warner Brothers Discovery put someone with a vision in charge of the DCEU, it will likely remain as such.

One major source of disappointment among fans is the rumor that Henry Cavill has left the franchise and is no longer involved with Superman.

There were even rumors that after The Flash movie Supergirl would replace Superman in the DC cinematic universe.

Which didn't help the studio's already failing reputation with fans, however now according to The Wrap's Umberto Gonzalez the new management at the studio has been listening to the fans and is very interested in bringing back Henry Cavill.

When Gonzalez was asked by Fandango's Erik Davis about Henry Cavill's return he repeatedly said to divulge what he's been told would be a "spoiler."

This could be hinting at the rumor that Henry Cavill would have a cameo appearance in the upcoming Black Adam movie, as was originally hinted at by Dwayne Johnson .

If anyone has the star power and influence to bring Cavill back it would be Dwayne Johnson and seeing Black Adam and Superman take each other on would be a treat for fans.

And would also set a future movie in which Superman, Black Adam, and Shazam all share the big screen and would be a guaranteed hit at the box office.

Hopefully, we will not have to wait long to find out as Black Adam is set to hit the big screen on October 21, 2022.
