With Daniel Craig leaving the role of James Bond with No Time To Die, the internet has been buzzing with rumors on who will be taking over the role next, Craig took over the mantle from Pierce Brosnan in 2006 with Casino Royale, so who better to ask than Brosnan himself.

One of the most memorable actors to play the role of the iconic British spy James Bond has to be Pierce Brosnan, who stepped into the role with the 1995 smash hit Goldeneye and would go on to star in three more Bond movies with him stepping down from the role in 2002 with Die Another Day.

Brosnan will be making his superhero debut in the upcoming DC superhero movie Black Adam in which he will be starring opposite Dwayne Johson, with just a week to go before the movie hits theaters Brosana is busy promoting the movie.

British GQ asked the actor recently about his thoughts on who will or should play Bond next and the actor made it very clear that he doesn't care.

"Who should do it? I don’t care, it’ll be interesting to see who they get, who the man shall be, whoever he be, I wish him well," Brosnan stated. "I saw the last one, and I saw Skyfall, I love Skyfall."

The actor also shared his thoughts on No Time to Die "I’m not too sure about the last one, Daniel always gives of his heart. Very courageous, very strong. But..."

Well, it seems clear that the actor like a lot of James Bond fans didn't like the idea of killing off the character in the last movie, and while it was a fitting send-off to Daniel Craig's version of the iconic spy, the fact the studio will waste no time to reboot the franchise does reduce the impact.

Hopefully, we will get to know who will be playing the role next sometime next year.

Meanwhile, Black Adam will focus on Teth-Adam who is released from his prison after 5000 years and comes face to face with The Justice Society of America.

Dwyane Johnson has said that Black Adam will be an antihero and will change the power dynamic of the DCEU going forward.

The movie is directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and stars Dwayne Johnson, Aldis Hodge, Noah Centineo, Sarah Shahi, Marwan Kenzari, Quintessa Swindell, and Pierce Brosnan.

Black Adam will hit theaters on October 21, 2022.
