Ishq Vishk Rebound- Makers drop first look of Rohit Saraf, Pashmina Roshan, Naila Grrewal, and Jibraan Khan

Not many may remember that Shahid Kapoor had a ‘blink and miss’ role in the Aishwarya Rai starrer Taal (the title song), where he was seen as one of the background dancers. It was with the 2003 film ‘Ishq Vishk’ that he made his debut in Bollywood as a full-fledged hero. 

Thanks to his chocolate looks and his impeccable dancing skills, the audience went crazy over him and the film, which eventually established many careers and was also one of the blockbusters of that time. There were many who demanded a film’s sequel.

The film’s makers, however, announced ‘Ishq Vishk Rebound’ which stars Rohit Saraf, Pashmina Roshan (Hrithik Roshan’s cousin), Naila Grrewal, and Jibraan Khan (who was seen as a child artist in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham).

Even though the film’s title may sound similar to that of Shahid Kapoor’s Ishq Vishk, the film’s lead hero Rohit Saraf had told in one of the interviews to News18 Showsha, that, he won’t be stepping into Shahid’s shoes and that the only thing that the two films had in common was just the title. He added that Ishq Vishk Rebound was a very different story about new-age love and friendship in today’s world.

Today, the film’s makers dropped some really cool posters of the film, which also revealed the first look of all the film’s lead actors. As for Rohit Saraf, he was looking as uber cool as ever in the posters. Ditto for the other three actors viz., Pashmina Roshan, Naila Grrewal, and Jibraan Khan.

Besides dropping the film’s posters, the film’s makers also announced the release date of the film as June 21, 2024. As for the film’s characters, while Rohit Saraf plays the role of Raghav in the film, Jibraan Khan will be seen playing the role of Sahir. On the other hand, it is Pashmina Roshan who will be seen in the role of Sanya and Naila Grrewal will be seen in the role of Riya.
