Janhvi Kapoor joins cast of Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff starrer Bade Miyan Chote Miyan

Ever since Akshay Kumar teamed up with Tiger Shroff for Bade Miyan Chote Miyan , the excitement around the movie has increased. And now actress Janhvi Kapoor has joined the cast of the film, making it the most anticipated movie of 2023. According to reports, the makers have been looking to rope in the biggest names for the film and they zeroed in on Janhvi opposite Tiger, while the search is on for a female lead opposite Akshay.

Akshay, Tiger, and Janhvi will be sharing the screen space for the first time together. The upcoming film is a big-budget movie packed with action and drama. For now, the details of the plot and characters have been kept under wraps. However, the source close to Pinkvilla revealed that like all Ali Abbas Zafar directorial, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan also has a strong character with ample scope for women.“Ali likes to work on his characters and bring in a larger-than-life dynamic to all the key actors. Much like that, the two female leads also have a great role in the film,” the source said.

Ever since the announcement was made, there have been constant updates about the project. Firstly, there were rumours that the film will be shelved, however, director Ali Abbas Zafar debunked them calling them absolutely baseless. Later, he also clarified that the film has no connection with David Dhawan’s 1998 film of the same name which starred Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda in dual roles. It was reported that Tiger and Akshay have reduced their fees for the movie.

Meanwhile, produced by Vashu and Jackky Bhagnani, the film will be shot in the Alps, Scotland, the UK, and Saudi. The film is slated to go on floors in January with a five-month schedule planned. The team intends to wrap the actioner by May 2023 so that it will be ready to get released on Christmas, i.e December 25, 2023.
