Janhvi Kapoor to romance her 'all time crush' Vijay Deverakonda in Puri Jagannadh's JGM

    Reportedly, Janhvi Kapoor will be romancing Vijay Deverakonda in his upcoming movie JGM. The actress had earlier revealed that she had a crush on the actor.

    South sensation Vijay Deverakonda 's fans were sent into a frenzy after it was announced that he will be collaborating with director Puri Jagannadh again for a high-octane action flick titled JGM. Now, an interesting update surrounding the movie suggests that actress Janhvi Kapoor will be seen romancing the actor. Yes, you heard that right, reportedly it is Janhvi who will be Vijay's leading lady in the ambitious project.

    Talking about the same, a news report in Mid-Day stated that Janhvi Kapoor will be seen opposite Vijay Deverakonda in the movie. For the unversed, the Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl actress had earlier confessed to having a crush on Vijay when she had appeared on Neha Dhupia’s show No Filter Neha along with her sister  Khushi Kapoor . Janhvi also expressed her desire to work with the Arjun Reddy actor in the near future.

    Janhvi Kapoor was quoted to reveal, “The status is non-existent, unfortunately. I feel like I have put out a lot of feelers but there is no response. I’m kidding. It’s just admirational. I’m comfortable if the admiration is, I guess one-sided, at this point.”

    Not only this but reportedly Janhvi Kapoor was also the first choice for Liger originally. But the Dhadak actress could not be a part of the movie due to her conflicting dates with other professional commitments. As a result, Ananya Panday was roped in to star alongside Vijay Deverakonda in the same.

    The movie is all set to be released on 3rd August, 2023. JGM will be bankrolled by Charmme Kaur, Vamshi Paidipally and Puri Jagannadh, with the screenplay, dialogue and direction by Puri Jagannadh.  The action entertainer is a pan India film which will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. The movie was announced in the form of a grand event in Mumbai today (March 29).
