Jassie Gill replaces Aayush Sharma in Salman Khan led Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, actor to romance Shehnaaz Gill in the movie.

Salman Khan led Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali after experiencing a casting turbulence seems to have added a new cast member after Aayush Sharma ’s recent departure from the film. The Bollywood superstar’s Antim co-star exited the project this week following alleged creative differences with director Farhad Samji .

According to a report by Hindustan Times, actor Jassie Gill has now been roped in to replace Salman’s brother-in-law in the movie. Jassie has been paired opposite Shehnaaz Gill have been paired in Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali who is making her Bollywood debut with the project after having acted in numerous Punjabi films.

While Jassie has been added to replace Aayush, it is still unknown who will be replacing actor Zaheer Iqbal in the project who allegedly also ditched the project. The two actors were supposed to play Salman Khan’s brothers in the film and soon after their exit names of actors like Meezaan Jafri, Abhimanyu Dassani cropped up to be replacing them.

Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali went on floors earlier this month in Mumbai’s Film City where the shooting began with an elaborate action sequence in metro station set. The actor announced the new project on social media and shared his first look with fans.

Shehnaaz also joined the shoot a few days later and several of her pictures and videos from the set went viral as her legion of fans celebrated her Bollywood debut.

Apart from Shehnaaz, actress Pooja Hedge is also a part of the project and has been roped in to star opposite Salman in the project. The film is being helmed by Farhad Samji who last directed Akshay Kumar starrer Bachcchhan Pandey which released in March.

Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali is scheduled for arrival in cinemas in December 2022 after being preponed from its original planned 2023 arrival.
